This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines acceptable and prohibited uses of AppoByte applications, platforms, AI agents, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
By using the Services, customers agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy in addition to the AppoByte Terms of Service.
Prohibited Activities
Customers may not use the Services to engage in activities that are unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or that interfere with the operation or security of the Services.
Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
Illegal or Harmful Activity
- Violating applicable laws or regulations
- Engaging in fraud, deception, or misrepresentation
- Transmitting harmful, abusive, or threatening content
- Distributing malware or malicious software
System and Security Abuse
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
- Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the platform without authorization
- Bypassing or circumventing security controls or technical safeguards
- Interfering with service availability or platform performance
Misuse of AI Features
- Attempting to bypass AI safeguards or policy controls
- Using AI features to generate harmful, misleading, or unlawful content
- Attempting to extract confidential system prompts or internal model behavior
- Using AI features in ways that violate applicable laws or regulations
Data Misuse
- Processing personal data without appropriate rights, permissions, or legal basis
- Attempting to access or export data belonging to other customers
- Using the Services to store or distribute sensitive information without proper authorization
Service Resale or Abuse
- Reselling or sublicensing the Services without authorization
- Using the Services in a way that interferes with other customers' use of the platform
- Exceeding or circumventing usage limits imposed by the Services
Enforcement
AppoByte reserves the right to investigate potential violations of this Acceptable Use Policy.
If a violation is identified, AppoByte may take appropriate action, including:
- Issuing warnings or requesting corrective action
- Temporarily suspending access to the Services
- Terminating access to the Services
- Reporting unlawful activity to appropriate authorities where required by law
AppoByte may take these actions where reasonably necessary to protect the security, integrity, or availability of the Services.
