    Data Controller

    AppoByte acts as a data controller for certain information collected directly to operate and manage our services. This may include account registration information, billing information, and service usage data required to administer the platform.

    Data Processor

    For customer content processed within AppoByte applications, AppoByte acts as a data processor on behalf of its customers. Customers determine how their data is used within the platform, and AppoByte processes that data solely to provide the requested services.

    AppoByte does not process payment card information directly when payments are handled through third-party payment processors.

    Data Retention and Deletion

    AppoByte retains data only for the duration necessary to support service delivery, comply with legal obligations, and maintain operational security.

    Retention practices include:

    • Account data is retained while the account remains active and for a limited period thereafter when required for operational, legal, or compliance purposes.
    • Usage data may be retained for a defined period to support analytics, debugging, and security monitoring.
    • Customer content is retained for the duration of the customer's subscription and may be deleted following account termination or upon verified request, subject to contractual and legal obligations.
    • Backup data may be retained temporarily as part of routine backup and recovery processes.

    Requests are processed in accordance with contractual obligations and applicable data protection laws.

    Customer Data Rights

    Under applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable, individuals may have the following rights:

    International Data Transfers

    AppoByte processes data in regions where its services operate and where its infrastructure providers maintain systems, including the United States and European Union.

    Where personal data is transferred internationally, AppoByte relies on safeguards such as:

    • Data Processing Agreements with service providers
    • Technical and organizational security controls designed to protect transferred data
