Uptime & Reliability
Platform availability, maintenance practices, and incident communication.
Platform Architecture Overview
AppoByte applications operate on modern cloud infrastructure designed to support reliable and resilient platform operations.
Our platform architecture includes:
- Managed cloud infrastructure supporting application availability
- Load balancing and scaling mechanisms appropriate to application usage
- Data replication and automated backups to support recovery
- Infrastructure monitoring and operational alerting
- Content delivery networks (CDNs) used for static asset delivery where applicable
These architectural components help support consistent platform performance and operational stability.
Availability Targets
Note: The following availability targets represent operational objectives and are not contractual guarantees. Any service level commitments are defined in customer agreements.
| Service | Target | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Web Applications | 99.9% | Excludes scheduled maintenance |
| API Services | 99.9% | Excludes scheduled maintenance |
| Data Processing | 99.5% | Best effort during high workload periods |
Maintenance and Updates
We perform periodic maintenance to support platform performance, reliability, and security.
Scheduled Maintenance
Planned maintenance activities may be scheduled periodically to apply system updates, infrastructure improvements, or security patches.
When maintenance may impact platform availability, we aim to schedule these updates during lower usage periods whenever possible and provide advance notice when appropriate.
Emergency Maintenance
In certain situations, urgent maintenance may be required to address security vulnerabilities or critical system issues.
When emergency maintenance is necessary, we prioritize minimizing service disruption and restoring normal operation as quickly as possible.
Incident Communication
If service disruptions occur, AppoByte aims to provide timely and transparent communication regarding system status.
Incident communication practices include:
- Acknowledging service disruptions once identified
- Providing status updates during ongoing incidents when appropriate
- Investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions
- Conducting post-incident reviews for significant disruptions
These practices support transparency and continuous improvement of platform reliability.
Historical Availability
Availability metrics and operational reliability data may be reviewed internally to monitor platform performance.
Customers conducting operational reviews or security assessments may request additional information regarding platform availability or reliability practices.
